Our History
Twisted Illusions Tattoos is located in the heart of the bay area, Hayward CA. This tattoo shop was established in 1998 and has been growing within the community ever since. Our staff here proudly works with clients one on one and like to gain a personal trust, and connection. Custom designs are an important staple in tattooing, continuing a sacred tradition in respecting tattooing and other artist work with out duplication but also taking the ideas of a client and bridging the gap in creating a piece specific to the special meanings of tattoos using creativity and originality. Big or small, something for you. We take pride in our work with passion and dedication to the craft.
Owners Bio
= Loreto "Loré" Lori =, came to Twisted Illusions in 2013 as a walk-in artist, after 3 years she became tattooer/owner. Diversity lead her to start enjoying tattooing all styles including black & grey realism, cartoon illustration, script, gangster b&g, traditional and color. These days she is known for her "freehand bizz". Freehanding from pen on skin off of the top of her head. Loreto has an amazing eye for cover-ups sometimes using only the space and skin that is needed , she likes to make sure it looks like there was never anything there. Although not too many tattooers will do cover-ups or like to, she thinks everybody deserves a new begining and covering bad memories and times in someone's life is a blessing. "Tattooing for me, has saved my life it gave me a true passion and purpose in life. Its a gift, not only an outlet or creative expression , it's to help people heal, bring happiness, honor lives, start transitions, and even close chapters in peoples lives. It keeps my light lit inside for that reason ."
